SUMMARY CONCLUSION
God appears to be associating reaping with a sickle in harvest to the judgment He brings on the Church at the revelation of Christ. The enemy sows tares among the wheat and at the time of harvest (the end) God sends the sickle (unsaved church) to gather the wicked for the burning.
