Is the Lake of Fire a picture of God giving the Church over to false prophets in judgment?

NATURE: FIRE AND BRIMSTONE COMES FROM THE MOUTH OF THE FALSE PROPHETS AS A FORM OF JUDGMENT.

Re 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake <3041> of fire <4442> BURNING with brimstone.

Re 9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued FIRE and smoke and brimstone.

Jer 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth FIRE, and this people WOOD, and it shall devour them.

Ps 109:2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a LYING tongue.

Pr 22:14 The mouth of strange women is a DEEP PIT: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein.

Re 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the FIRE, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

Jas 3:6 And the tongue is a FIRE, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

Mr 9:45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter HALT into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

Re 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second <1208> death <2288>.

Re 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second <1208> death <2288> hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Isa 34:9 And the STREAMS thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the LAND thereof shall become BURNING PITCH.

Eze 38:19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great SHAKING in the land of ISRAEL;

Eze 38:21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s SWORD SHALL BE AGAINST HIS BROTHER.

Isa 66:16 For by FIRE and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be MANY.

Ps 140:10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they RISE NOT UP AGAIN.

SALVATION: ELECT ARE SPARED AS THEY COME OUT OF TRIBULATION

Zec 3:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

Jude 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Ac 28:4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a MURDERER, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

Ac 28:5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

Conclusion:

The Bible appears to be equating the LAKE OF FIRE to God’s wrath coming on the unsaved church body. It is accomplished as God allows the locusts, serpents, scorpions to devour the body with their lying words. These lying words are portrayed as FIRE coming out of the mouth in a form of judgment as God’s wrath destroys the wood, hay and stubble.
