SUMMARY CONCLUSION
Shame seems to relate to the state of the church under God’s judgment. It began with the elect enduring tribulation; Time when shame related to denying Christ with false Gospels. It then transitioned into total shame at the revelation of Christ as the unsaved body is cast into the lake of fire. The church is said to be put to shame.
