SUMMARY CONCLUSION
Samson appears to be a type of Christ who defeated Satan (lion) in order to obtain the woman (elect) that pleased him well. Before He could have her, He first had to defeat Satan. That appears to have taken place both at the cross and at the revelation of Christ. And it would seem that salvation became possible (bees and honey) as a result of death of the enemy.
