(The focus it seems should be on Christ alone and not on each other)

SUMMARY CONCLUSION
Tit 3:9 and 1Ti 1:4 appear to be speaking of the great tribulation. Endless genealogies speaks of a record of descent or lineage. This would relate to who’s who in the kingdom. Saying that those in the body should not be showing sides or favoritism as to who belongs to which descent, lineage or tribe. Spiritually it would be debating on who is saved or not (reckoned among the 144,000) or worshiping men. And worshiping men (sun, moon and stars) is what the church does in tribulation. The focus should be on Christ alone.
