SUMMARY CONCLUSION
When it comes to going to Babylon or fleeing to the mountains, there appears to be a duality of judgment and salvation. Historically, there was a physical departure into Babylon. However, coming into tribulation, the historical judgment verses seem to relate entirely to leaving the unclean as Jerusalem or Judea became Babylon.
