Could this phrase be a reference to God's Judgment on Babylon? Let's examine.

A LITTLE: CHRIST?

Eze 11:16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as A LITTLE sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

Ge 19:20 Behold now, this CITY is near to flee unto, and it is A LITTLE one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.

1Ti 5:23 Drink no longer water, but use A LITTLE WINE for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.

HERE AND THERE: RULE OF ANTICHRIST IN TRIBULATION?

Mt 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, HERE is Christ, or THERE; believe it not.

Mt 25:24 For there shall arise FALSE CHRISTS, and FALSE PROPHETS, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Lu 17:23 And they shall say to you, See HERE; or, see THERE: go not after them, nor follow them.

HERE A LITTLE, THERE A LITTLE: ANTICHRIST RULING IN JUDMENT?

Isa 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here A LITTLE, and there A LITTLE:

Isa 28:11 For with STAMMERING LIPS and another tongue will he speak to this people.

Isa 28:13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; HERE A LITTLE, and THERE A LITTLE; that they might go, and **fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken**.

A LITTLE HELP: REDEMPTION OF THE BODY IN CHRIST?

Da 11:34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with A LITTLE help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

Ezr 9:8 And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us A LITTLE reviving in our bondage.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION:

The Bible appears to be associating A LITTLE to Christ. HE is the LITTLE HELP or SANCTUARY the Elect receive. However, in judgment, false prophets began to rule and the LITTLE that was Christ has now become the little horn of antichrist.
