FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD: CHRIST FROM EVERLASTING?

Re 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation <2602> of the world <2889>.

1Co 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

1Co 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

Lu 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Ps 102:25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

BLOOD SHED FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD: CORPORATE BODY IN CHRIST FROM EVERLASTING?

ELECTION AND PREDESTINATION: GOD’S FOREKNOWLEDGE?

Ac 2:23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge (prearrangement) of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

1Pe 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Redemption before the cross?

Ge 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

De 34:6 And he (God) buried him (Moses) in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

The Atonement Prophesied?

Lu 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Eze 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Isa 63:4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

Isa 63:5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

Ga 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law…

Ac 3:18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

SUMMARY CONCLUSION:

The Bible appears to be equating foundation of the world with Christ Himself. He is the everlasting foundation, the beginning and the end. The world seems to point to the kingdom itself on which the church built gold silver precious stones, wood hay stubble. Elect were chosen from the foundation of the world (in Christ) in eternity past according to God’s foreknowledge. Christ slain from the foundation of the world appears to relate to the certainty of the prophesied atonement.
